IMPORTANT NOTICE!

It is with great sadness that the Trustees of the Sesame Institute have to announce that at the Special General Meeting on Saturday 27^th June 2015 the membership voted to begin the winding-up process. 

 

The winding-up process will take place during the next few months and will lead up to a second Special General Meeting on November 21^st at which the membership will be invited to determine what should happen to any remaining funds and assets as well as the ethos and archives.  Members are invited to submit proposals in advance of that meeting.  The deadline for submission of such proposals is yet to be determined but is likely to be a month or so before the November meeting.  The Institute will finally close after the November meeting.

 

The winding up of the Sesame Institute will entail serving notice of redundancy on our staff, Mary Smail and Chris Hanfrey who have worked tirelessly and with great dedication and love for the Institute.  We wish to acknowledge this service and hope others will too.

 

The Trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported the Sesame Institute over the years.
